Yes, the Plafit Super 32 has a bigger brother.
In Europe it is simply known as the Super 24. However officially for our market
as well as the Japanese market, it will be called the Plafit III Chassis System.
The Plafit III is the next generation of fully adjustable chassis designs
and will eventually replace the so popular and successfull Excel Chassis range.
The Plafit III is very similar in design to the Super 32, in fact some of the parts are interchangeable, however there are many more chassis accessory parts available.
Compared to the Excel Chassis, the Plafit III is of course very different
in design. It features a complete new chassis spring system as well as different
front and rear axle brackets. The ground clearance is set with spacers compared
to the Excel's continous long-hole screw adjustment. As with the Super 32
the front wheels can be run independent as well and it also features a removable
traction magnet for the use on plastic tracks or with magnetic braid.
The Plafit III is available in standard form as is its Excel cousin, fully
assembled ready-to-run with Fox II Motor and 17mm Sponge Tires.
